Monthly Collaborative

On Friday, October 23rd, 2020, we held our monthly collaborative meeting with representatives from the school system, the non-profit sector, volunteers, business sector, private sector, and more! Each entity present shared about how their organizations are handling COVID-19 as well as any upcoming events. We then heard from Jim Gant with the Northeast Georgia Christian Counseling Center, a new agency in our community. What a great need– click the video to learn more!

We are BACK! The school year has officially started and what a great presentation from White County Schools Superintendent, Dr. Laurie Burkett, on how the system is responding to COVID-19.

Another great collaborative meeting held via Zoom today! We heard updates from a number of organizations as well as information from Wayne Naugle with Families4Families, a local faith-based Child Placing Agency. Make sure to take a minute to check it out!

We had a great collaborative meeting today! We heard from quite a number of White County non-profits, businesses, and other local community members about what they are doing during COVID-19. We then heard from Cali Jahn with Voices for Georgia’s Children on Census2020.
